Nigeria News Yar’Adua shelves weekly FEC meeting

President Umaru Yar’Adua yesterday shelved the Federal Executive Council (FEC) announcing that under the current dispensation, the council will meet every fortnight as against weekly as the case was in the last administration.

Presidential spokesman, Mr. Segun Adeniyi, who made this known when he addressed the State House correspondents in Abuja said the president’s decision had already been conveyed to council members by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe.
